A traditional 300 years old large end terraced farmhouse in Morwentstowe hamlet, near Kilkhampton ,5 miles from Bude, North Cornwall. Only 2 miles to lovely Duckpool sandy beach with coastal and beach walks along the coast into Bude. Two worthwhile family theme parks at Killarney Springs and Brocklands, just outside Kilkhamton village-lots under cover. Bude resort has huge classic sandy beaches and a huge open air free swimming pool on the beach. Bude has waterside restaurants, cafes, pubs and beach resort entertainment . A traditional farmhouse on a family farm with masses of character and is roomy throughout. Originally 2 farmhouses but has interconnecting doors both upstairs and downstairs with two staircases so as to make one dwelling.This is why it has double facilities such as 2 lounges, 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. A pretty, farm setting at the end of a farm lane.2 large enclosed gardens,one with an orchard at the bottom,somewhat away from main road traffic so safer for young children. Woods and fields to stroll on, being a mixed farm. Although only comfortably furnished the character, roominess and setting make this a very attractive place to enjoy a holiday-children love it.The double facilities will be a boon for 2 families and the children will love running in and out of the large rooms and gardens. A few minutes stroll to 2 ponds on the farm in a very picturesque woodland setting. One pond, over 1000 years old and supposed to have supplied the monks who lived nearby with carp, has been set aside as a wildlife sanctuary, often with migratory birds such as herons, ducks,etc. The 2nd pond (approx 66 yards long ) was stocked during 2003 & 2004 with coarse fish (golden rudd, tench & carp), although may be poor fishing. Try a picnic by the ponds. No pets.

Accommodation: First bedroom has 1 double bed. Second bedroom has 1 double bed. Third bedroom has 2 single beds. A put you up bed for 1. Fourth bedroom has 1 double bed. Fifth bedroom has 3 single beds. There are 2 lounges, both with logs fires (logs supplied at cost). Night storage heaters. Kitchen/diner has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher. 2 bathrooms, both having a bath. 2 toilets.
