A character cottage- 'The Homecroft' is a 19th cent semi-detached stone cottage in the quaint village of Stratton, which adjoins Bude, North Cornwall. Bude's excellent beaches are under 2 miles. Stratton is a pretty village and the cottage is only a short stroll to the village shop and the excellent Tree Inn with its bars and excellent restaurant. Refurbished in recent years the cottage provides appealing accommodation with a cosy and inviting cottage style interior. For heating there is a woodburner in the lounge (fuel avail locally). Also central heating. A communal driveway with next door with parking for holiday cottage of 2 cars; also parking on the road outside.A small enclosed front lawn and a side patio garden. Garden furniture. Local attractions include Brocklands and Trelawney Springs Adventure Parks (reasonable cost-lots under cover) and Pixieland for the younger ones. Bude offers all the amenities of a beach resort including the excellent surfing beaches. Enjoy the miles of classic sandy beaches,breakwater & cliff walks; with attractive country footpaths and lanes leading from the village. No pets please.

Accommodation: First bedroom has 1 double bed. 2nd bedroom has 3 single beds, one of the beds being in a screened off area for privacy-ideal for the youngest child. Kitchen/diner has an electric oven, hob unit & micro- wave. Washing machine. Lounge with T.V . Bathroom has a bath.
