Pretty ‘Ash Tree Cottage’ is situated 6 miles from Boscastle and 5 miles from Crackington Haven beach, North Cornwall . Beaches at Widemouth Bay are 5 miles and Bude beach resort 7 miles. A great area for walkers, the Nat Trust coastline being a prime attraction. 'Ash Tree Cottage' is ground floor only and converted from a stone barn ( 2003), providing higher standard and attractive accommodation. An atmospheric rural setting in what was originally the farmyard, on a beef and sheep farm. Adjacent fields to stroll in and leading from the cottage is the 10 minutes walk down the farm lane (a profusion of spring and summer flowers-including honeysuckle, wild roses, fox gloves) to the tiny brook and ford (see photo)-take your dog with you ; with a further walk over to the small farm lake (with coarse fish-restocked during 2004) and then continuing along the brook, through a meadow and back to the cottage . Farm play area with swings, climbing frame etc. Enclosed rear patio garden with garden furniture. Adjacent parking in courtyard. 1 dog is welcome.
